Killers of the Flower Moon

Enormous in runtime, theme, and achievement, Killers of the Flower Moon is a sobering appraisal of America's relationship with Indigenous peoples and yet another artistic zenith for Martin Scorsese and his collaborators.

Big Film Design is proud of another collaboration with Martin Scorsese on title design for Killers of the Flower Moon. BFD’s Creative Director Randy Balsmeyer, has been working with Mr. Scorsese and his editor Thelma Schoonmaker for more than 25 years, beginning with Kundun. For Killers, Balsmeyer suggested using the newly invented (2006) Osage language as the first main title, followed by the English version. The film depicts the genocide of the Osage nation by an expanding US in the 1920s. Title design is restrained, but in keeping with the period of the film.

The film opens in theaters worldwide on October 20.
